Built in 1922 in Hamtramck, the Kopytko Meat Market on Jos. Campau had been in the original family until 2015.

I had driven by this store hundreds of times, and on the lucky occasion, I could see the second story columns while waiting for the nearby traffic light to change. My jaw dropped when I crested the stairs.
A beamed ceiling, paneled walls, and the original silver chandelier.

We were called to refinish the 1 1/4″ oak floors, which had 90 years worth of shellac, wax and varnish, and an edge that had been water damaged.
